And now, when I select Library/Artists, the artist associated with the selected song appears in the list - exactly as I would expect and want. Included in the list are several artists for which I had added only a single track - that is to say, when the song came up in one queue or another somewhere along the line, I added the song (and not the artist) to my library. And there they are, included in the list, as I would expect. In fact, when I click around the various artists listed in my Library/Artists results list, most (nearly all) display an unclicked "follow" heart/button, which indicates I have never followed them, but instead have merely added them to my library.
And, indeed, the number of artists listed in my Library/Artists is much greater than the small handful of artists I have followed. Instead, I tend to "add" artists, or one of their albums, or one of their single tracks, to my library. In all, I've followed maybe a half dozen.
The result - as I would expect - is a page that shows all of the dozens of artists I have ever added to my library. Using the Windows desktop app (9.), I did a test that follows your post: I clicked on Library, then selected Artists. I, too, am a paid-up AM Unlimited subscriber.
